Internet Connection Requirements (This requirement may be considered a recommendation when attempting non-technical challenges.)

Try Cyber is a latency-sensitive web application. For the best experience, we recommend you access Try Cyber on a supported device connected to the internet via:

An uncongested and stable network
An ethernet cable or WiFi with excellent signal
A connection with at least 15/5 Mbps (download/upload speed)
A connection with less than 200ms of latency from our data center located in the Central US

VPN, Satellite, & Cell Network Warning: We do not recommend using Try Cyber while connected to a VPN, a geostationary satellite network (e.g., HughesNet, EarthLink, etc.), or a cell network (e.g., 5G, 4G, LTE, etc.), as it may negatively impact latency, stability, and connection speed.
